- your occupation/job role function, insurance/risk management information and information about the levels of covers you have, and such details as insurers, policy numbers, excesses, security provisions, fire protection levels of gross profit and assets, extent of loss or damage and/or nature of injury sustained, and any specific policy terms, endorsements and/or conditions applicable;
- information such as renewal dates, current premiums and details of previous claims history and financing arrangements; and
- details of financials may be needed to calculate the quantum of your loss
By providing Insurance Claims Assist Australia with your personal information you consent to its use for the following purposes:
- complying with your instructions;
- ascertaining your entitlements;
- .delivering services to you;
- managing your data;
- improving our services.
- We may also collect your information from third parties such as your insurer, broker or loss adjuster with your prior consent.
Failure to Provide Information
We collect and use your personal information in order to provide you with information on financial products, and services you seek. In the absence of correct information or if you do not give us the information that we request Insurance Claims Assist Australia may be unable to ascertain your rightful entitlement to a loss/claim.

If you provide personal information about another person to Insurance Claims Assist Australia you must have that person’s authorisation to provide their information and you must inform that person of Insurance Claims Assist Australia’s identity and how it will use and disclose the information and that person’s rights to access that information.

We may hold the information we collect from you using different methods, such as in our computer system and in our hard copy files. Our security procedures comply with the regulatory guidelines. In some cases, your personal information may be included in our office files and these may be archived and sent to an external data storage provider for a period of time. We only use storage providers located in Australia who are also regulated by the Privacy Act.
Access & Correction
We will take reasonable steps to make sure that the personal information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete and up to date for the purposes for which it is used.
